Ultrasonic Snow Depth Sensor

The BG-SS100 Ultrasonic Snow Depth Sensor is an intelligent snow depth sensor that uses ultrasonic remote sensing technology to achieve automatic and continuous monitoring of snow depth. The sensor operates by transmitting 50 kHz ultrasonic waves and it measures the time difference between the transmission and return of the signal and calculates the snow depth accordingly. The device provides RS485 communication output and supports the standard MODBUS communication protocol for easy integration with monitoring systems. The sensor integrates a temperature compensation function to eliminate the impact of temperature changes on ultrasonic signal transmission and reception. It also has a built-in heating module, which allows it to fully adapt to low-temperature environments.
